My fee includes:

Initial phone call/video call for you to get an idea of how your ceremony could look

Face to face meeting (approx 2-3 hours). This can be done at your place, the venue, somewhere in between us, or on Zoom if you prefer.

Advice, ideas and guidance on logistics, music, readings, writing vows, props and symbolic acts - available and unlimited contact from moment of booking until after the ceremony.

Access to all my poems and readings and ideas for music

Advice and guidance on writing your own vows (or I can write them for you/with you)

Writing of a completely bespoke wedding ceremony script

Coordination of contributors' readings, music etc

Printing the script, a music operator's cue sheet and all readings for the ceremony

Amends to the script if you have any corrections (usually very minimal)

Delivering the ceremony on the day (with lots of smiles)

Use of any of my fabulous props - eg unity candle sticks, storm lantern, handfasting ribbons and oath stones - within my fee

Use of my professional indoor/outdoor music player/mics/PA system for duration of the ceremony if required. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use

Mileage is included in my fee. If extensive travelling is required (100 miles +), then additional costs may incur.
Rehearsals are not usually needed, as my scripts are loaded with stage directions, and I will be there, smiling and guiding you through everything, effortlessly on the day. However, if your ceremony is complicated and you just want some practise to alleviate any nerves, then I am happy to go through a full rehearsal with you either on site at the ceremony venue, or somewhere else if the venue can't accommodate a rehearsal.. The cost of a rehearsal is £50 plus mileage if over 10 miles away from Harrogate.
Script Writing

If your wedding is overseas and you don’t have the budget to take me with you, I can offer a bespoke wedding script writing service, which is £700. This includes all of the above apart from officiating the actual ceremony, and the script - which will be delivered in digital format for you to print.
Will you travel?
I mainly conduct humanist wedding ceremonies in and around Harrogate, Leeds, York, Skipton, Ripon, Northallerton, Thirsk, Bolton Abbey, The Yorkshire Dales, Durham, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Northumberland. There are some amazing venues - so many to choose from and I never tire of finding fabulous new venues to work at - whether they are indoor or outdoor!
If your wedding venue is outside of North Yorkshire, County Durham or Newcastle/Northumberland, I would be happy to chat through your plans and give you a quote.
